Whoops! I saved this post as a draft and forgot to post it! So yeah, back in May we saw the Queers. Halfway through the set Alex D. tapped me on the shoulder. It was nice to see an old friend, even if literally for a few seconds.
Josh has been listening to a ton of pop punk lately. Man, are The Queers lyrics pretty dumb. But, hey, they were my favorite band in high school and every chance we got we'd cram ourselves into some one's car and make the late trip into spooky Baltimore or DC to see them play, usually with the Mr. T Experience. I have fond memories of making B-Face talk to me; one in particular involves a massive iridescent plastic hair clip that he retrieved offstage for moi. I thought, I'll cherish this forever. =p There is actually a chance it may still be in the house somewhere...
