he be eating good: patê on a spoon
After walking around, shopping, and poking about the streets of Lyon, we headed to a site of old Roman ruins.  Adjacent to the Gallo-Roman Museum (which was closed that day), the ruins were up the hill from a local high school that just dismissed.  All the kids were hanging out at the bottom of the hill while us tourists were enjoying the view from the top of the ruins.  Now, if I were a local kid I would like to hang about the ruins, but I guess teenagers go where other teenagers are and tourists are so lame.

Afterward we checked out a lovely nearby Basilica that caught our eye.  Then back in our trusty rental car Talloires-bound for an evening date to pour affection upon Gâtique, who responded with biting us and demanding pâte.
