This little blog-that-could hit over 10,000 views!  That's out of this world!!  Much thanks to everyone who has supported my writing, art, and memories.  You're the best!  Please enjoy this photo of me and my childhood spaceship, an actual physical presence in my neighborhood.  It, like myself, was a bit of a charming, oddball, weirdo thing.  And, like so many things in life, I completely took for granted and thought it would be there forever (I mean, seriously, how many of you can say you lived near a spaceship or have been Inside a spaceship?  Anyone?  Anyone who didn't grow up near me?).  Alas, nothing can last forever, not even modular spaceship structures, middle school (thank goodness), or awesome customized Chuck Taylors your brother painted for you.  I don't really believe in growing up, but I do believe in GETTING SOME, so ya'll go out there and get it.  And if any of you ever see one of these things, let me know.  They totally exist and I'd be down for a road trip.

Tonight, Five Years Ago

...in a land, far, far away...
We had our wedding rehearsal in Annapolis, at St. Mary's.  Dinner followed at the Charles Carroll House, which is conveniently adjacent to the church.  It was raining and gloomy.  Weather was so poopy some folks were late to the rehearsal.  Nevertheless, all went well.  Times were celebrated.  Food was eaten.  Tear-jerking presents were bestowed (Josh's father has a knack for writing poetry for his family).  After all was done we headed back to the hotels to rest up and prepare for The Big Day.  

Megan and I shared a room; Mandy, Sara, and Kara were down the hall.  Megan and I stayed up way too late watching way too much Tila Tequila.  I'll never forget it.  I slept with my hair all did up, rolled-like, so it would be curly the next day.
