If you've never been to The Golden West, I recommend their brunch. Their french toast is crazy huge and sweetly delicious. If you want to give yourself a tummy ache, order that plus a Thai iced tea and maybe a cupcake -- give yourself the Diabetics Death treatment. I've done it. And lived to regret it.
The Shirks opened this late-ass Friday night show. Some older folks were annoyed there was a cover to get in and complained on the way out. I guess it wasn't their scene. Punk rock isn't for everyone.
