Garden notes to self for the future:
  • Gerber daises and you just don't get along.  Stop buying them.
  • Remember when you said you wouldn't buy any plants?  You should listen to yourself.  B/cs you get free plants from work that would otherwise be composted.  And that is awesome.

(However, I don't regret getting those double bloom begonias.  They are lovely.)
---
Spent yesterday potting yellow pansies that were on their way to the compost.  I also grabbed some tulips that I am really hoping will come back nice next year.  Right after shoveling holes for them to go into the ground I got wiped out.  A wall of tired hit me, and I probably wasn't great company during dinner.  Afterwards we watched a Hulk Hogan movie from the 90s where he is an alien crime fighter who has to hide out for a while in the suburbs with Christopher Lloyd.  I fell asleep.  =p

Update on the rabbits:  the adults seem to be scarce, but they've left behind at least two lil' ones.  They are unfortunately cute and are eating my plants.  I've put some carrot peels in the yard to hopefully distract them from eating my flowers.  We'll see if they nibble on them at all.  When I tossed them in a pile in my front yard I could here the 4-year-old next door ask her mother, "What is Miss Anne doing?"

What is Ms. Anne doing?  Hmmm?
